Some are:
"Get on their boat, steal their keys, and throw them in to the water. Wait, they probably have an extra set. Just blow it up!" "You left your dog you idiots." and from the woman with the feather in her hair.. "Brovo, what fun!" ~ FL "I'll have a butterscotch sundae, I guess." |

I absolutely love the "feather women" in the beginning. She was outstanding. I also really enjoy it when she says
"SERIOUSLY" Zissou - " Well thanks ,although I would have much rather not of had the SERIOUSLY." ~ FL "I'll have a butterscotch sundae, I guess." |

I love Bill Murray's last line. With a faraway look, he says something to the effect of, "This is an adventure." And you get the sense that he's talking about something more significant than the documentary.
Also, "Please don't make fun of me, I came in here to flirt with you." "Let me show you my boat." "I let you call me Stevsie." |

SPOILER!!!
I'm pretty sure it's " Do you really think it's cool to be hittin' the sauce with a bun in the oven?" One of my favorite ones is when Hennessey is being rescued and he looks at his captors and says " I fold ". Great Stuff. |

After seeing it again tonight, here is another favorite:
"He can't even hold a boom! He doesn't know diddley-jack about sound recording!" Or something like that. I love Klaus. "You're a bond company stooge." "I'm also a human being." |

I like when Eleanor is asking about when Ned almost drowns and Steve repeats her question...its something like:
"Did Ned's heart stop when you pulled him out of the water?" "Did Ned's heart stop when I pulled him out of the water?" I also like: "This is probably my son, Ned." and "Who are you, you look pregnant." |

I enjoyed these..
"How could you lay that slick faggot?" "And then there's the kitchen which probably holds the most advanced technological equipment on the entire ship." "Anne Marie, are you OK?" "No, I'm not. I told you these were unprotected waters." "No, I'm not going to fail you. I'm going to give you all incompletes." "Sorry about that. You caught me with one foot off the marry-go-round." ~ FL "I'll have a butterscotch sundae, I guess." |

I love how sad Steve seems when Eleanor tells him his cat Marmalade died, but then seconds later...
"What kind of cat was it?" "who gives a shit? I think it was a tabby." |

I can't remember precisely how this exchange went (because after the first half of it, I was dying laughing), but it's my favorite:
Steve: Esteban was eaten by a shark! Klaus: Is he dead? Steve: He was EATEN! Klaus: Is he dead? On edit - I was thinking about the Klaus line given above... Quote: ... and thought affectionately of seymour glass. Anyone who read that 'no photography in NYC subways' thread should've given seymour a little tap on the nose for that line. I hope he watched TLA, gave Wes a big ole and gave all of us Racergripers a big, fat I TOLD YOU SO. (But just on that point.) (We're still right about everything else.) (Heh.)

Maybe it's the same line that Highwaters is saying but I like,
Steve- Esteban was eaten! Klaus- Is he Dead? Steve- Yes, Esteban was eaten! Klaus- Swallowed Steve- No, chewed. Skiddly... Skiddly.-Eli

Yeah, that's how it went. I was laughing so hard. All I knew what that Klaus wasn't grasping. So funny.
On edit - I forgot to mention, but for me, this was THE line from the film: I wonder if he remembers me. That was Zissou (and probably the entire human race), in a nutshell. Seems simple, but I think it's the most emotionally complex thing our minds have to grapple with throughout. Finding, having, loving, and losing people. And wondering if you made any impact whatsoever on them, or upon the world, enough to remember you, in the best possible light. |

Ohhh I love that line too highwaters. I can't believe than some people don't like this film. I think it fits in perfectly with the rest of the films and it's such a beautiful film.
Did anyone notice the golden action figure in the scene with Jane after Ned's death? They're the ones that someone mentioned in an interview with Wes. They found them in the ocean while they were filming. I also loved in the scene where Steve and Ned are doing the Zissou salute, and in the background you see Klaus doing it in the air with them.
